FROM THE PASTOR’S DESK
The book of Revelation can scare many people because the book deals with the end of the age of which we live. But, if you are a true believer we have no need to fear but to rejoice in the glorious return of our Lord and Savior!
It is my desire that your joy be full even in the event of the end of the age in which we live. Starting in April on Wednesday nights at or around the 16th, I will be beginning a study on the book of Revelation. This will be a verse-by-verse study and you might be surprised how events are unfolding all around us as we speak.
Jesus said “No one knows the day or the hour of His return”. However, He did say that 24). If you are interested in these times in which we live, you will not want to miss this study. Therefore, I would like to invite you to come out and be a part of this in-depth study in eschatology stating in mid-April.
Youth Pastor Search Committee: In the lobby you will find cards to be filled out if you are interested in being on the search team committee for a Youth Pastor. Please drop the card in the box.
Thank you – Youth Pastor Search Team
The Choir is getting ready for the Easter Cantata!
Vacation Bible School (VBS)
Scheduled June 16th-20th
Annie Armstrong Easter Offering: We will be collecting for Annie Armstrong during the month of April. Our goal this year is $1,500. We have put the prayer guide and brochures in your bulletin this week. Next week and all subsequent weeks in April, we will put envelopes inside the bulletins for your use.
We have been discussing the need for a Van Ministry in our church. There are so many in our congregation who must walk to church. Rainy and cold temperatures make walking a hardship on these members. Still, there are others in the community who simply are unable to walk , but would love the opportunity to come to church. Our youth must borrow a van/bus for their outings.
We feel the need to push forward with this much needed Ministry! We want your input and/or help in getting this Ministry off the ground! If you would like to be involved in the Van Ministry or have any suggestions, there is a “Van Ministry” box in the corridor outside the Sanctuary. Simply fill out the card showing where you want to help or write a suggestion and drop it in the box! Pray about this. . . ask God if there is an area in this Ministry in which you can be used to serve Him.
Nursery Volunteers: We are in need of volunteers for nursery and toddler care on Sunday mornings. If you have a desire to serve the smallest members of our church family, please contact Deb Kinder at 502-541-1849.
Cancellation: If church services are cancelled for some reason, we will put a notice on WHAS 11 news.
TeamKIDS will not meet when school is not in session.
