FROM THE PASTOR’S DESK
The book of Revelation can scare many people because the book deals with the end of the age of which we live. But, if you are a true believer we have no need to fear but to rejoice in the glorious return of our Lord and Savior!
It is my desire that your joy be full even in the event of the end of the age in which we live. Starting in April on Wednesday nights at or around the 16th, I will be beginning a study on the book of Revelation. This will be a verse-by-verse study and you might be surprised how events are unfolding all around us as we speak.
Jesus said “No one knows the day or the hour of His return”. However, He did say that 24). If you are interested in these times in which we live, you will not want to miss this study. Therefore, I would like to invite you to come out and be a part of this in-depth study in eschatology stating in mid-April.

PAJAMA AND UNDERWEAR GIVEAWAY!!
Last Saturday was our last official sign-up and we now have 231 children signed up and like every other year we will probably get some more signed up from now until the day before the giveaway. Thank you to everyone who has picked a name out, brought in a toy, prayed, gave money or have decided that you were going to allow God to use you in some capacity at the giveaway. We are so excited and can hardly wait to see what God has planned!
As a you continue to pray to see where God wants to use you, these are the areas of service that are needed on 12/20/14:
*Working in the Kitchen and Serving Christmas Dinner
*Pajama and Underwear Giveaway (there will be 3 rooms)
*Directing the flow of people through the church
*Welcoming our Guests
*Assisting our Guests out to their car with all their presents
*Clean up and putting the church back together
*Bringing in desserts
We will purchase everything needed for the dinner thanks to the contributions from so many people. But, we are in need of desserts for this dinner. We will be working Thursday and Friday night preparing for Saturday and you could drop the baked goods off then. This would be a tremendous help to us. We can use every “Team” on this amazing day doing what God equipped and gifted that team to do for His Kingdom.
For I was hungry and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger and you invited Me in; naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited me; I was in prison and you came to Me. Then the righteous will answer Him ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You or thirsty and gave You something to drink? And when did we see You naked and clothe You? When did we see You sick or in prison and come to You? The King will answer and say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even to the least of them, you did it to Me.’ Mathew 25: 35-40

♦ The Women’s Conference: Put on by the State Convention of Baptists in Indiana is Feb 6-7, 2015 in Indianapolis. The conference is two days (Friday & Saturday). I would like to see how many women (anyone over 18) would like to attend. The speakers this year are Leighann McCoy & Heather Messick. The cost is $65 to register and the hotel will be approximately ($35 based on 4 per room). If you would like to attend please contact Kris Baker in church or email her. She can also be contacted by phone.
This is an event that we have taken part in in the past and many of us have very fond memories of bonding with our Christian sisters. Let’s see if we can get a large group to go.
Cancellation: If church services are cancelled for some reason, we will put a notice on WHAS 11 news.
TeamKIDS will not meet when school is not in session.
