◊ A big thank you to all that helped with the Parent Appreciation Day! A special thanks to the GUYS for doing such a GREAT job cooking, for the YOUTH that did some “running” and helping with getting everything ready for the drinks. Also, to the GUYS and YOUTH that helped take down the tables and to the FELLOWSHIP TEAM that helped set up and clean up. Hilda
◊ I would personally like to thank each and every member of the church for you prayers during my surgery, hospital stay and rehab time. God has taken great care of me and you deserve a special thanks for lifting me up in your prayers. ”Where two or more are gathered. . . He hears.” Thank you from the bottom of my heart. . . I have a great church family. In His Love, Marie G. Broughton

Glory Gals: Coming up on June 9th, we’re going to be doing something new! We are having a joint meeting with the younger women of the church for an “Out of This World, Painting Nite”. We are gonna show these young’uns how we rock. This will be held in the fellowship hall from 6-9 p.m. If any of you ladies need a ride, and don’t want to drive at night contact Kris Baker and she will arrange rides for you. Our own artiste in residence, Alma McCutcheon, will be leading the painting class and Kris Baker will be hosting,. There will be snacks to “nosh” on while you paint. Space is limited to 40 and we already have about 35 signed up, so get your name on the list ASAP. The signup sheet in on the table outside of the sanctuary, the cost is $10 to cover supplies. You can pay in advance or at the event. Also, hold your calendar open for 2nd Thursday in July, we are planning a Hawaiian Luau poolside at Teresa Brading’s house, more on that later!
If anyone wants to join us, you don’t have to be a member of our church–just show up. We’d love to have you.
Please pray for me, as we head to MD Anderson Cancer Center for diagnosis and treatment and cant wait to get back home to my Girls!
