SUPER SUNDAY SCHOOL SUNDAY
♦ February 1st will be SUPER SUNDAY SCHOOL SUNDAY! This is a little competition to see which team can get the most fans to come to Sunday school wearing something with your favorite team on it. It can be any team. Whether it’s an elementary school, little league, middle school, high school, college or pro, whatever your favorite team is wear it to Sunday school on February 1st. The team with the most representation gets bragging rights for the year. Last year the UofL Cardinal fans won, so let’s see if it will be a repeat or will it be a different team this year.
You must be present in Sunday school on February 1st to count for your team, so call up your fellow fans and team mates and bring them to Sunday school on February 1st.
Friday Night Winter Family Game Night
Starting this Friday, January 30th and the remainder Fridays in February we will start a Friday Night Winter Family Game Night that is open to everyone of the church. This is designed to offer another avenue of fellowship amongst our Christian family. With the cold weather, and the lack of daylight, we tend to get the winter blahs. Friday Night Winter Game Night is a way for us to get to know each other and have fun, while fellowshipping and playing different kinds of games on Friday nights.
The vision for this is each Friday night we would like a different host family to open their house up around 6:30pm for this wonderful time of getting to know each other and grow closer to one another. Families can bring games to choose from or the host family can have games ready to play. We would also like for each family to bring a small snack so that whoever is hosting the game night doesn’t feel burdened to provide a lot of food for the fellowship.
This is open to any and everyone who just want to relax and have a good time on these cold Friday winter nights. If you would be interested in hosting a Friday Night Winter Family Game Night, please let me know and I will put you on the schedule. THIS COMING FRIDAY, JANUARY 30TH our first Friday Night Winter Family Game Night will be AT BRIAN & ALMA’S HOME. PLEASE CONTACT BRIAN OR ALMA @ 502-262-8871, FOR ADDRESS!
We understand that people’s schedules are different from week to week, so that is why we are offering this event each Friday through the wither. When we get to the end of February we will discuss if we would want to continue into March.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. –Brian McCutcheon
♦ The Women’s Conference: Put on by the State Convention of Baptists in Indiana is Feb 6-7, 2015 in Indianapolis. The conference is two days (Friday & Saturday).
