FROM THE PASTOR’S DESK
The book of Revelation can scare many people because the book deals with the end of the age of which we live. But, if you are a true believer we have no need to fear but to rejoice in the glorious return of our Lord and Savior!
It is my desire that your joy be full even in the event of the end of the age in which we live. Starting in April on Wednesday nights at or around the 16th, I will be beginning a study on the book of Revelation. This will be a verse-by-verse study and you might be surprised how events are unfolding all around us as we speak.
Jesus said “No one knows the day or the hour of His return”. However, He did say that 24). If you are interested in these times in which we live, you will not want to miss this study. Therefore, I would like to invite you to come out and be a part of this in-depth study in eschatology stating in mid-April.

DERBY DINNER PLAYHOUSE GIRLS AFTERNOON OUT: The Church Basement Ladies are back in an all-new musical comedy! It’s 1960 and the reformation is underway. Beverly’s getting her first high heels, Mrs. Engelson’s getting her driver’s license, and through it all these ladies stand strong in their faith and friendships.
If you have not seen any of the previous plays you are in for a great time. We are going to have a group going to the Saturday afternoon Matinee on September 13. We need to know if you would like to go. Why are we asking so early? Derby Dinner shows have a history of selling out. Tickets are $37 pp which includes the show, buffet & drink (dessert is a separate charge). If we get 20 or more tickets will be $33 per person. Please contact Kris Baker at church or email her if you would like to go. Please see Kris if money is an issue and you would like to attend (this will be kept confidential).
Nursery Volunteers: We are still in need of 2 or 3 volunteers for the Toddler nursery.
